Preschool - 3-5 Years
Mini - 5-9 Years (In School)
Youth - 9-12 Years
Junior - 11-16 Years
Advanced/Open - 14+ (For experienced dancers)
Adult - 18+ (Suitable for beginners)
Where a child sits between two age groups, an assessment on skill will determine their best class.

Studio 22 styles
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation for all other styles of dance. A dancers technique is built and strengthened with weekly ballet classes.
Lyrical/Contemporary
A close relative of ballet, lyrical/contemporary takes the technical moves of ballet and turns them into beautiful, emotional pieces of work.
Jazz
An upbeat style of dance that includes lots of kicks, tricks and sass! Anything from commercial to Broadway, we teach it all.
Hip Hop
A vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to let the dancers express their style.
Pom
Currently only offered for competition teams, this style takes jazz skills and combines them with the strong precise movements of Pom.
Acro
It's time to flip, twist, roll and jump! A fantastic way to work on your dance tricks, learn partner work and lifts, and push yourself to the limit!
Competition Teams
Lyrical, Jazz, Hiphop and Pom Intermediate and Novice teams available for all age groups! We currently attend AASCF Competitions.

Our founder Lyndsay started Studio 22 in 2023. Studio 22 was created out of a need for elite training in a totally inclusive and accepting environment.
Lyndsay has been a dance instructor for over 10 years and has a keen eye for detail.

Miss Shayla is our Mini age Guru! Miss Shayla runs all our Saturday classes and really nurtures each students progress. Miss Shayla is a Transit Dance graduate and is very proud to be continuing her training at Patricks School of the Arts in 2026!

Our Adult Dance superstar Miss Trin really gives her all for both ends of our age spectrum here at Studio 22. From assisting with our Minis and Preschoolers on a Saturday to taking our Adult Rec classes, you're in good hands with Miss Trin!

Our Acro expert Miss Crystal will get you flipping, diving, rolling and tumbling in no time! Miss Crystal is a qualified Gymnastics coach and really loves bringing her knowledge into the dance world. We are also excited to welcome Miss Crystal into our Competition Staff in 2026!

Our newest addition to the teaching staff here is Miss Rayne! Miss Rayne comes from a diverse background of elite dance, ninja/parkour and other sports to really round her talents out. We are excited to be welcoming Rayne into a technique and Competition coach role in 2026.
